The Secretary-General&#8217;s report on the United Nations Integrated Office in Haiti (BINUH) reviews political, security, human rights and humanitarian developments from April to July 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Haiti gang violence constrains public life<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The report describes persistent insecurity as the most serious obstacle to stability. Violence involving armed groups continues to restrict movement, disrupt economic activity and weaken access to public services, particularly in and around Port-au-Prince.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Humanitarian pressures remain closely connected to the security crisis.
