COP31 stakeholder applications for participation, partnerships and Türkiye Pavilion side events close on 14 August 2026, according to the official COP31 Türkiye platform. Civil society organizations, public institutions, local governments, universities, international organizations and private-sector stakeholders are among the groups eligible to apply.
COP31 will take place at the Antalya EXPO Center from 9 to 20 November 2026 under Türkiye’s presidency. The application process offers organizations an opportunity to propose side events, promotional activities and partnerships connected to the conference programme and the Türkiye Pavilion.
A participation channel for civil society
Side events can help civil society groups bring field experience, research findings and policy recommendations into the wider climate conference. They can also connect organizations working on adaptation, climate justice, sustainable development and local resilience with international partners.
The official announcement identifies national and international stakeholders as potential applicants. Organizations should review the relevant criteria and submit their materials through the application portals linked from the COP31 Türkiye website before the deadline.
COP31 preparations continue
The UN climate conference will bring together governments, observers and stakeholders to advance negotiations and implementation under the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change. Admitted NGOs will participate through UNFCCC registration, while Türkiye Pavilion and partnership applications are managed through the Presidency’s platform.
